About this Event

Flowing alongside the southern edge of Hunter's Point Park is Newtown Creek.

Monica Schroeder will introduce you to Nature Journaling, focusing on landscapes no matter your artistic skill level. All you need is a love of nature and your curiosity.

This event will be From Marshland to Industry to Renewal; the Environmental History of Newtown Creek: Drawing and watercoloring water, clouds and waterscapes.

All materials supplied. Or bring your own:

Art paper

Pencils

Watercolor travel kit

The class is recommended for teens and adults.

Space is limited so registration is required.
