Come join one of our experienced rangers on a short bush walk and develop the skill of nature journaling. Nature journaling is the practice of drawing or writing in response to observations of nature and the feelings experienced by the process.
Nature journaling will enrich your experiences and develop observation, curiosity, gratitude, respect, memory and the skills of a naturalist.
Participants are required to bring along their own journal, materials will be supplied.
The Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden is one of Sydney's best kept secrets, set across 123 hectares of unique urban bushland and home to two endangered ecological communities as well as 18 threatened species of flora and fauna. The Wildflower Garden is open to the public all year round and has a range of hikes, step-free walking tracks, picnic areas and heritage venue hire as well as a diverse calendar of environmental education programs.

Set on 154 hectares of urban Sydney Sandstone bushland at St Ives and adjacent to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden boasts some of Sydney’s best Wildflower trails, Duffys Forrest and Coastal Upland Swamp as well as 18 threatened species of Australian Flora and Fauna and 2 endangered ecological communities providing learning experiences in the natural environment.
