Nature Journaling 101 Boot Camp Class w/Watercolor & Ink Make & Take

Nature journaling is the practice of recording observations, questions, and connections with the natural world using words, pictures, and numbers in a notebook. It acts as a tool to focus attention, deepen curiosity, and boost memory, with no requirement to be an artist or expert.

First project from observation of plants and birds in class. Learn how to do a basic sketch, watercolor and finish it off with ink linework. We'll discuss where to go to observe, how to take photos to draw from later or work on site, and how to build a kit. You will get to work with our stock studio tools and materials to get an idea of what you want to journal with.
