Whether you’ve been nature journaling for a long time, or just want to try something new, this is the community for you! Meet at the Education Yurt for a deep exploration of the monthly nature journaling prompt (posted on all ERNC social media and at www.ernc.org), and stay for as long or as short as you’d like. Please bring a facemask. ERNC will have some art supplies to borrow and share, but please bring your own. Bring any other projects that explore the connection between nature, art, phenology, and weather data, too! No registration required.June's Prompt:
Nature Journaling: Zoom In
Hello nature friends, it's Georgia of @tinyneststudio back for this month's inspiration for the monthly Nature Journal Club. (insert your meeting details here)
This month take a moment to look closely at the natural world around you. Find something and notice the smallest details. Zoom in. Ask questions, make measurements, describe what you see. I chose a branch with lichen and I was surprised by how much I noticed!
Nature journaling is all about sparking curiosity and wonder- there is no right or wrong way to nature journal. Hope to see you in person for our next meeting!
