Description: You don't have to leave your neighborhood to explore nature! Join a Refuge Ranger at your local library to learn all about plants. We will explore the science of plants, discover what is growing in our neighborhood and get some seeds ready to plant around where you live! Activities are geared toward elementary-aged students, but all are welcome. Come dressed for the weather and outdoor exploration. Children must be accompanied by an adult.Activity Level: Easy-active, we will walk outside to the library lawn and explore in a small area.
Meet Us: Penn Lake Library, located at 8800 Penn Ave. S, Bloomington, MN 55431
What to bring: Clothing and shoes you can comfortably move around in. This program has indoor and outdoor portions, please bring outerwear appropriate for the weather. Event is rain or shine.
Accessibility: Restrooms and water fountains available inside of the library. Outdoor terrains include paved sidewalks and mowed lawn.
