🌿 Family Fun at St Philip Church, Chaddesden! 🌿
Looking for something free to do with the children? Want to get to know the outdoors, have fun together, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon without needing any special equipment or nature knowledge?
Come along to Nature Explorers Together on Saturday 6 June, 11am–3pm at St Philip Church, Chaddesden — a welcoming community space in the heart of Chaddesden.
This is a free family activity session aimed at children under 11 and their grown-ups, with simple, hands-on nature fun for everyone. We’ll be exploring the outdoors together through activities such as:
🍃 Leaf crowns�🎨 Nature crafts and colouring
🍕 Bird Pizzas�🔎 Nature hunts
You do not need to know lots about nature to join in — this event is all about enjoying time together, trying something new, and helping children discover the natural world in an easy, friendly way.
If money is tight, this is a great chance to enjoy a day out together that won’t cost a thing.
Just come as you are.
Please dress for the weather, as some activities may take place on grass. A responsible adult must stay with children throughout.
The session is led by a DBS-checked children’s worker, and safeguarding policies are available on the website. Activities may vary depending on the weather and the season.
This event is part of Great Big Green Week 2026, which takes place from 6–14 June 2026 and brings communities together to take action for nature and climate.
