Fall is in the air…! Join us each and every Saturday at the Trailside Nature Center for a variety of nature themed programming. All free – and FUN! All programs either meet or take place at the Trailside Nature Center.September 7th - Lake Life
Take a guided hike with a Park Board Naturalist as we explore the Burnet Woods Lake. Filled with fish, turtles, frogs and more – this walk will be packed with local wildlife.
September 14th - Mammal Mania
Visit Trailside Nature Center for a lively presentation on our local mammals. We’ll learn what habitats to find them in, the role they play in nature and their status in Burnet Woods.
September 21st - International Children’s Day (11:00 am – 4:00 pm)
Celebrate the children of the world and the culture and heritage of our neighbors and friends from around the globe. Festivities will include a parade, food trucks, cultural entertainment, and more!
September 28th - Birds!
Bring your fledglings out for some introductory birding. We’ll learn 10 local birds at the nature center – then it’s out into the wilds to see them in action!
