This 2 hour outdoor experience is an opportunity to tune into a forest that is typical of southern Maine. It exercises the wonder that, for many of us, came naturally during childhood. Plan for a wander and wonder that is guided ith a light touch. We hope to create a sense of comfortable familiarity with the environment and a deeper connection with yourself. It will include a few simple mindfulness practices to help us slow down and tools to help with close observation and naming what we find. The workshop will be led by Jack Flanagan and Hughes Kraft. Jack is a Maine Naturalist and psychotherapist with a long and deep love of the outdoors. Hughes is a Certified Nature Therapy Guide, writer and psychotherapist in private practice. He enjoys sharing ways to build bridges between the human and more than human world.
Be prepared to be outside for the entirety of this program.
