Nature Connected Professionals: Fall Gathering 2025

Welcome, everyone, to the Fall Gathering of the Nature-Connected Professionals. Please join us for this free event to connect with each other in nature. We'll gather to nurture our growing professional community and the natural world.

Theme: Wisdom of the Prairie - Seeing the Long View

When: Friday, September 26, 2PM - 4:30PM 

Where: Richardson Nature Center Prairie MAP (10 min walk from parking)

Our Intention

• Explore the ecology and awe of the tall grass prairie.
• Deepen our understanding of the prairie's resiliency along with our own in community.
• Expand our self-care practice in a sensory buffet of the prairie along with sound bath healing.
• Become familiar with the important ways the prairie and our own bodies are in relationship with water.

Possible Take-aways 

• Understand prairie plant and water adaptations.
• Emerce in the unique sensory experience of the open landscape and prairie’s long view.
• Feel the resonance between the water in the prairie, ourselves, and each other.
• Inspiration to connect more with prairies - Prairie Enthusiasts.

What to Bring

• Wear comfortable clothing and footwear to move on turf trails and rolling landscape.
• Simple beverage for self or to share.
• Portable chair or mat for sitting in the prairie.
• Your curiosity and sense of wonder!

We gather as professionals and volunteers who center nature in our work. All fields and backgrounds are welcome. Our seasonal gatherings build community, foster reflection, and restore well-being.
