Nature Camp 2026

Calling all young Nature Campers! Come explore, investigate and enjoy Pennypack Park during this fun-filled week. Nature Camp is the perfect setting to discover nature’s wonders in a safe, educational and social environment.

Dates: Monday, July 13-Friday, July 17

Ages: Children 8-12 years

Time: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

$125.00 per child. Eventbrite fees apply. Non-refunable.

If you would like to avoid fees, choose "Pay by Check" at checkout. Checks must be recieved within 5 days of registration for your space to be held/confirmed.

Location: Pennypack Environmental Center

Lunch: Campers should bring their own lunch, and snacks.

Camp Instructors: Classes are taught by park staff and guest educators from other professional organizations.

Info: Families should check in their child, take them to the bathroom, and check that they have sun and bug repellant on them, and a full water bottle.

Info: Group gathers to review the day.

Info: Group will begin the day's plan with hiking, art, games, and/or hands-on artifacts and animal interactions with snack in the middle.

Info: Kids gather, often with the other group, to eat lunch and play.

Info: Groups will complete their adventures for the day and return to the center.

Info: Group will clean and pack their bags, then gather to talk about the day's successes, challenges, and what they are excited for next.

Info: Children must be signed out by a preauthorized adult. Have IDs ready.
