Let's get outside! Are you up for a hike? Urban Abbey is hosting a nature hike at Iowa's Hitchcock Nature Center, a 25-minute drive from Urban Abbey. Joel Walker, former naturalist, park ranger, and chaplain will lead the hike. He'll use the natural surroundings as a backdrop for conversation on our spiritual lives. We'll walk approximately 3 miles on a moderately difficult trail, stopping along the way to look at what's around us and engage in a few short guided discussions.
Wear comfortable footwear, bring a bottle of water, and prepare to have your spirit lifted! This hike is open to up to 12 adults. Hitchcock Nature Center's admission is $5 per carload, payable by exact change or check at the gate. Meet in front of the Nature Center's Visitor Center.
