Naturally at Darling Quarter: Feed Your Senses for Vivid

Sydney, get ready for a truly immersive experience as Naturally at Darling Quarter arrives just in time for Vivid! You'll enjoy a sensory overload of your eyes, ears, and mouths as the precinct lights up with a tonne of Vivid attractions; from free live concerts to bespoke culinary creations.

At Darling Quarter, we've leaned into this year’s theme, Vivid Naturally, with our Night Walkers and Spectrum of Happiness light exhibitions. Night Walkers is inspired by the stunning skin patterns of frogs, while Spectrum of Happiness channels the beams of a rainbow. Kids of all ages (including the young-at-heart) can swing and sway among the lights on a movement-activated swing set.

Music enthusiasts and frugal festival goers can lose themselves in twelve nights of free live entertainment. Tumbalong Nights is sponsored by Commonwealth Bank’s Indigenous Careers, and will bring stacks of home-grown and international talent to the Tumablong Park stage. Youthu Yindi, Kutcha Edwards and Dan Sultan will perform live, plus, triple j Unearthed High will celebrate 15 years with current finalists and previous winners.

Our restaurants have also come to the party with Vivid-exclusive menu items, each highlighting a natural ingredient. With flavour heroes like dragon fruit, fish, flour, and doodee (authentic noodles from Thailand), Darling Quarter eateries are ready and waiting to illuminate Sydney’s tastebuds.

• Peach bruschetta from Cafe Alma, a delicious contrast of sweet and savoury
• Candy Wonderland and Apple Rhubarb, exclusive flavours from Gelatissimo

• Spicy chillies from Doodee Noodle, which come with a free popsicle
• Dragon fruit cocktails, plus wok-fried scallops with dragon fruit from MuMian
• Delicate sashimi and flavour-filled sushi from Ichoume, celebrating the versatility of fish
• UFO Chicken from Goobne, a cheese fondue using oven-roasted tender chicken for dipping
• Hainanese chicken rice from Killiney Kopitiam, made with aromatic ginger
• A smoked raspberry cocktail from Braza Churrascaria, who also use the natural elements of coal and fire to cook their Brazilian fare
• Macadamia and lime sponge from Kurtosh
• Milkshakes and dessert using ube (also known as the purple sweet potato) from Dopa Donburi & Milkbar
