What You'll Learn
Slow down, get creative, and make something beautiful to take home. In this relaxing, beginner-friendly workshop, you'll create your own handcrafted natural soaps and botanical oil perfume while exploring essential oils, botanical ingredients, colors, and scents.
No experience is needed — we'll guide you through the process step by step.
During the workshop, you'll learn:
- How to make handmade soap using an easy melt-and-pour method
- How to blend essential oils to create your own signature scent
- The characteristics, aromas, and traditional uses of different essential oils
- How to properly dilute essential oils with carrier oils
- How to create your own botanical oil-based perfume
- How to customize your soaps with colors, dried flowers, herbs, salts, and other botanical ingredients
What You'll Make
Each participant will create:
- 2 handcrafted soap bars
- 1 custom botanical oil perfume roller
At the end of class, take home all of your creations to enjoy yourself or give as thoughtful handmade gifts.
All Materials Included
We'll provide everything you need, including:
- A selection of pure essential oils
- Melt-and-pour soap base
- Argan oil, sunflower oil, and other nourishing carrier oils
- Himalayan pink salt
- Dried flowers, rosemary, and other botanical add-ins
- Skin-safe soap colorants
- A variety of soap molds
- Glass perfume roller bottles
- Mixing cups, bowls, spoons, and all necessary tools
Your Workshop Experience
Step 1 — Create Your Signature Scent
Explore a selection of essential oils and discover their different scent profiles and traditional uses. Mix and match your favorites to create a fragrance that feels uniquely yours.
Step 2 — Make Your Soap
Learn how to melt and prepare the soap base, then incorporate your custom essential oil blend.
Step 3 — Make It Beautiful
Choose your favorite molds, colors, and botanical ingredients to personalize your soaps. Add dried flowers, herbs, Himalayan pink salt, or other decorative elements to create something completely your own.
