Natural Movement Series: Module 02 — Mobility & Mechanics Transition
About this Event
Module 02: Mobility & Mechanics — Transition
Join Dr Jesse Timm and Red Dot Running Company for the second instalment of our 4-part Natural Movement Series.
While Module 01 focused on the foundation — your feet — Module 02 bridges the gap between a reawakened foot and whole-body movement by focusing on the lower kinetic chain.
In this session, you’ll explore how the foot, ankle, knee and hip work together as one connected system to manage gravity, absorb and transfer forces, and support efficient movement during walking and running.
Through a combination of education and practical mobility drills, Dr Jesse will guide participants through ways to identify and address joint restrictions, improve movement mechanics and build the structural alignment needed for stronger, more dynamic movement.
Restore mobility. Improve mechanics. Move as one system.
What we’ll cover
- The Lower Kinetic Chain — understand how the foot, ankle, knee and hip work together during movement
- Joint Mobility — explore practical drills designed to improve mobility and address common restrictions
- Movement Mechanics — learn how your body manages and transfers forces during walking and running
- Structural Alignment — understand how better positioning can support more efficient movement
- Dynamic Movement — build the mobility and movement foundations needed for stronger, more coordinated movement
Whether you’re a runner, active individual or simply interested in moving better, this workshop will provide practical concepts and exercises you can apply to everyday movement and training.
You do not need to have attended Module 01 to join Module 02.
