This half day workshop will teach you how to make your own natural cleaning products from simple ingredients that can be found in your cupboards or easily and cheaply bought. During this hands-on workshop you will follow a variety of tried and tested recipes to make a number of home cleaning products that won’t cost the earth. Weather permitting we’ll forage for pine cones, ivy, conkers and rhubarb leaves - can’t get more natural cleaning products than that!
We will make:
General Purpose Spray
Cream Cleaner
Toilet Cleaner
Natural Firelighters
You will also watch a chopping board cleaning demonstration
What You’ll Learn:
How to make a range of home cleaning products from scratch using natural ingredients
How to save money and eliminate chemicals and single-use packaging from your home
Good to Know:
As we’ll spend time walking and learning around the farm please bring suitable clothing and footwear - and allow for changeable weather!
Refreshments included; Tea and Coffee and biscuits will be served from 1.30 so please arrive early to sign in, meet other students and get ready for a busy afternoon of hands on learning
