There is medicine growing all around us! From the beginning of time, humans have relied on nature to keep us healthy, but somewhere along the way we lost touch with the medicine that plants can provide. From herbal teas to salves and tinctures, there are a variety of ways that we can harness the power of plants to create herbal remedies right at home. In this hands-on session, we’ll use easy-to-grow medicinal herbs and combine them with honey and beeswax to create simple natural remedies. Each participant will leave with the remedies they create in class, and a feeling of empowerment to grow and create their own apothecary items at home.Registration closes on September 30.
