Come join in some merry making and crafting with local artist Cris Hughes of Secret Gardens CU! Cris will be providing all you need to make your own natural botanical 3D collage to take home or gift to a friend. During the 2 hour workshop, you will learn strategies for making a perfect nature scene to your liking, whether that be a forest vibe, wild prairie, or English garden.
You'll choose your 8x10 shadow box frame, background color, and from Cris's provisions of over 60 species of dried botanicals to make your composition. She will also bring some demos of how to dry your own botanicals at home for those interested.
This is a BYO drinks/coffee event, but Cris will be supplying a first round of mimosas
