The Arboretum's annual Native Gardening Conference teaches and promotes the use of native plants in home landscapes for biodiversity, habitat, beauty, and sustainability. Expert-led workshops inspire and inform gardeners and landowners to create and maintain native gardens or small-scale restorations.
Keynote: “Gardening with Native Plants of the Midwest,” Alan Branhagen, director of operations, Minnesota Landscape Museum.

• Citizen Science in Your Garden
Session II
• Plant and Manage Your Native Garden
• Pollinators in Your Garden
• Multifunctional Rain Gardens
Session III
• Native Plant Identification (session is full)
• Impacts and Management of Invasive Jumping Worms
• Native Plant Garden Tour
Fee: $65 through June 30, $70 starting July 1. Students: $30 (with ID).
