Learn about our amazing native bees with Dr Kit Prendergast - also known as the Bee Babette! Her focus is on native bee biodiversity, ecology and conservation.This is a free family friendly event and after Dr Kit's workshop, children will be able to make a bee hotel to take home. All welcome! Children under 15 must have an adult registered with them.
Where? At the Roleystone Family Centre, 19 Wygonda Road, Roleystone. (not 22 Jarrah Rd, Roleystone)
When? Sunday 28th September, 1pm - 3 pm
From 1pm - 2pm Dr Kit will be sharing her passion for and extensive knowledge about native bees. From 2 - 3 pm, children will be able to make a native bee hotel to take home. Afternoon tea is included.
This is a free event, but bookings are essential.
