Heidi Franklin

Heidi Franklin is a multi-skilled individual based in Suffolk who has a story to share.

A former headteacher turned entrepreneur, she created a multi-award-winning small business in less than two years, starting with just £1 in the bank account.

She is a business mentor, workshop delivery expert, event creator, business consultant and public speaker. She is currently the Local Enterprise Manager for NatWest but is about to embark on her own business journey once again. Heidi has faced adversity and completely rebuilt herself over a period of seven years. She is also a children's author. Heidi lives by her mantra that is 'Anything is possible'.

Charlotte Giddings, Brownie and the Bean

Brownie and the Bean is a bakery founded by husband-and-wife team Charlotte and Luke Giddings on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Every aspect of their bakes is lovingly handcrafted and baked in small batches. They use only the finest quality ingredients, locally sourced (wherever possible) including flour from Norfolk grown wheat, eggs from their local farm and sugar from Bury St Edmunds.

You can find their cakes and bakes in shops, cafes and restaurants all over East Anglia. Their brownies are available online and can be posted anywhere in the UK and you'll also find them at events such as Latitude (Suffolk) and Gone Wild Festival with Bear Grylls (Holkham).

Outside of running a bakery, Charlotte is passionate about talking to female business owners about the challenges of female entrepreneurship.

Penny Morgan, Penny Morgan Photography

For longer than she can remember, Penny Morgan has been fascinated by how others view images and photographs, whether it's from an artistic view point or how people see themselves and the challenges it brings in today’s society.

With a mixed background of equestrian training, accounts work, theatre choreography, graphic design and now photography, she has been a professional photographer since 2009. Her commercial work concentrates on people, in their personal lives and their business lives.

Ten years ago, Penny created a help session called ‘Love Your Image’ - designed to help people overcome the dislike and anxiety of getting in front of a camera, and this is now her specialist area.
