About this Event

The National Traveller and Roma Forum is an annual national event hosted by National Traveller and Roma organisations and the Department of Children, Disability and Equality.

Doors will open at 9:30 am, with the forum commencing at 10:00 am.

Attendance at the Forum is free but must be pre-booked.

Due to limited venue capacity, we respectfully request that each organisation nominates no more than two representatives to attend, to ensure broad participation. PLease ensure to include the name of your organisation when registering.

Tickets are available on a first-come first-served basis. Registration is now open and will close at 5:00 pm on Friday 20 March 2026.

Conference overview

Action 74 of the National Traveller and Roma inclusion II 2024 – 2028 (NTRIS II) provides for the National Traveller and Roma Forum to be convened annually, and to have a mandate to raise questions with NTRIS II Steering Committee representatives regarding progress on the implementation of NTRIS II actions, as well as to feed into the development of new action plans and future strategies.

This event is the second NTRIS II National Traveller and Roma Forum. Key discussions will focus will be on the implementation of NTRIS II at a local level, having regard to the 2025 NTRIS II Annual Report which will outline progress with delivery of the Strategy at end December 2025. The National Traveller and Roma Forum will also allow for discussions to inform the development of new actions for the next Action Plan and there will be a session on priorities for the next NTRIS II Action Plan for the period 2027-2028.
