Join Fort Raleigh National Historic Site and Dare County Trails as we unveil the new educational signage and celebrate National Trails Day!
The event will begin at 9 am with remarks about the new signs and work that went into them and importance of National Trails Day. At 9:30, visitors can accompany a ranger for a walk to take an in-depth look at the work behind the signs, or they can walk the trail on their own.
The event will start at Freedman’s Point, the parking lot at the base of the William B. Umstead Bridge, also
known as the Old Manns Harbor Bridge.
