National Trails Day: Length of the Gorge

Celebrate the 32st National Trails Day with our annual Length of the Gorge Hike. Traverse the Niagara Gorge and follow the same path Niagara Falls took over the course of ~12,000 years as we hike from where it started to where it sits today! Participants of this hike must be at least 8 years of age or older. Participants should bring a snack and water to enjoy during the hike.

Meet in the parking lot near the Schoellkopf Elevators before riding to Artpark State Park to begin our hike. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the program. Dress appropriate for the weather. Registration is required for all programs.

Programs are free. Parking is limited and parking fees may apply.

Please note that we do not allow pets on our park programs unless otherwise specified. This does not apply to service animals. Thank you for your cooperation.
