The National Symposium on Elder Psychological Wellbeing [NSEPW] is a biennial event that Charista Foundation pioneered in 2022 at CCI, New Delhi, presided by Ambassador Dr. Deepak Vohra and Bollywood veteran Ms. Meeta Vasisht. The event intends to raise awareness on the importance of elder psychological care amongst public, corporate as well as the government domains, and across all age groups. Our co-presenter for this year's event is Seni (TZMO Group)The 2024 edition will feature Padmashri Dr. Syed Kirmani and Ms. Geetanjali Kirloskar as the Chief Guests.
The 2 panels will be multi-starers with focus on corporate/ individual/ government policy issues in elder care addressing psychological health issues.
At Charista Foundation, in addition to elder psychological care, we also address the wellness of artisans who create artefacts (handlooms) that are lost in time by giving them technical help, time-warped designs and marketing support. Presently, we are working towards adopting an artisan community in Telangana.
