Libraries, childcare centres, schools, homes, and bookstores across the country will join together to read The Truck Cat by Deborah Frenkel, illustrated by Danny Snell. This heartwarming story explores themes of belonging, connection, and finding home—a perfect choice for this beloved literacy event.
What You’ll Do:
Join us in the Civic Centre Auditorium for an exciting literacy celebration featuring:
A special reader’s theatre performance inspired by The Truck Cat.
Fun-filled songs, rhymes, games, and crafts.
A special appearance by our reading mascot, Bangu!
