About this Event

National RTAP is providing three (3) days of Tribal and Rural Transit Manager training. The mini-conference kicks off with a plenary roundtable discussion of attendee agencies’ best practices and challenges, then continues with 90-minute breakout sessions covering a wide range of transit-specific and hot topics by experts in Tribal and rural transit program development, including, but not limited to: Transit Planning I and II, long range transportation planning, National Environmental Policy Act I and II, procurement and the use of NRTAP’s ProcurementPro tool, grant writing, the latest research on right-sizing your fleets, as well as how transit agencies can “do more with less” and create, build or enhance Tribal Transit Systems.

National RTAP will also be hosting Passenger Assistance, Safety and Sensitivity (PASS) driver training during the event. Registration is limited. DRIVER PASS TRAINING IS PROVIDED AT NO COST!

Register for driver training here. This is separate, from the Transit Manager training.

DRIVER TRAINING.

National RTAP will also be hosting Passenger Assistance, Safety and Sensitivity (PASS) driver training during the event. Registration is limited, so reserve your agency's drivers.

The Passenger Assistance, Safety and Sensitivity (PASS) driver training program is the recognized industry standard when it comes to ensuring that your passengers are transported in the most safe, sensitive and careful manner possible.

PASS is ideal for non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) trips, for ADA paratransit services, for specialized transit for older passengers, for human and social service riders — really any transportation operation where the passengers require extra care.

PASS trained drivers know how to safely and sensitively transport everyone.

Arrival and Preparation for the Driver Training.

Check-in: Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete the registration and check-in process.
