National Public Lands Day - Sunnyside Flattop Trail Maintenance

In partnership with the Sierra Club Alaska Trails, Alaska Trail Stewards volunteers will be improving the Sunnyside Flattop Trail in Chugach State Park. This project involves lots of trail touch-up. The trail needs to be brushed back in some spots and some sections of trail are in need of better drainage options and tread work. There is a lot of double-tracking, trail creep, social trails, and sloughing to address.
