The Capulin trail is a 6.4 mile motorized trail located off of Shadow Mountain Rd. on Hwy 64. It's a hidden gem for nature enthusiasts and has a little something to offer for all trail users during all seasons with scenic vistas along the way.
Volunteer work will consist of logging out deadfalls, installing Carsonite signage and reassurance signage, and repairing damaged tread.
What to bring: day pack, plenty of food and water, layers, rain gear, sunscreen, sturdy hiking shoes, gloves, and eye protection (sunglasses okay).
ECTA and the Forest Service will provide hard hats and tools.
