National Public Lands Day is on September 28, and we’re gearing up for another year of celebrating and caring for our nation’s public lands! ?
This year’s theme is "Together for Tomorrow," emphasizing the importance of leaving our public lands better for future generations. Join us in fostering environmental stewardship and connecting with your community through volunteer events like park maintenance, beach clean-ups, and more.
Locations will be updated before the event, but the 2 areas we plan to focus on are Anderson Road Day Use and Cook Day Use.
Registration/Safety briefing will be from 8-9am
9-12pm will be teams with their project leaders at various sites.
Lunch will be provided after the event is over.
Pre-Registration opens June 21st and is incouraged - closes the week before the event.
