National Philanthropy Day™ (NPD), celebrating 33 years of philanthropy in the Shenandoah Valley, is a special day set aside to recognize and pay tribute to the great contributions that philanthropy – and those people active in the philanthropic community – have made to our lives, our communities, and our world. The Shenandoah Chapter has celebrated NPD since 1990. Through NPD, we are able to show appreciation for all that has been accomplished in the name of giving, as well as demonstrating that there is still more to do. It's our chance to remind our community that the spirit of giving is alive and well.
