Through carefully selected objects and galleries, we explore the stories, symbols and historical contexts behind some of India’s most remarkable works of art. Beginning with the archaeological collections, continues through Indian bronzes, miniature paintings, manuscripts, coins, decorative arts and royal material culture. This is not simply a museum visit, but a curated exploration of the ideas, people and artistic traditions that shaped the Indian subcontinent.
