The National Museum of Mexican Art hosts Felix Monterrosa, founder of Mezcaleria Cuish to explore the roles of mezcal in Zapotec Society.
About this Event

Felix Monterrosa will be talking about the many roles and cultural significance mezcal has in Oaxacan and Zapotec society, especially around Day of the Dead.

Guests will taste through a lineup of Mezcales Cuish and beer from local cervecería, Casa Humilde, accompanied by tamales from Yvolina's Tamales, winner of 2021 Mole de Mayo.

Proceeds will go to the Instituto Gráfico de Chicago and the Mexican nonprofit organization, Maestros del Mezcal A.C.
