Who can identify the rarest moth during National
Moth Week? We aim to find out! Midsummer
nights are perfect for observing moths. Join us
for an educational introduction, a moth craft, and
some good ol’ fashioned “mothing”. Bring a headlamp or flashlight and your phone camera. We will
attract moths with feeding stations and blacklights.
Then we wait to see who will show up and show off.
This is part of National Moth Week, an international Citizen Science Project powered by volunteers. Use iNaturalist to record the moths you’ve
found. For more info visit nationalmothweek.org.
Moth hunting is FREE, however, pre-registration
is required and space is limited. Min. 8. Max. 25
