The sweetest, most buzz-worthy day of the year is almost here - National Mead Day, Saturday, October 4!Every first Saturday in October, we raise a glass to the world’s oldest (and most delicious) fermented beverage, and this year’s celebration at Silver Hand is shaping up to be one for the books.
We’re pulling out all the stops: a double mead release with Let It Linger and Mazurka (stay tuned for more about this special new release 👀), plus the return of a seasonal treat, Peppermint Cocoa Whipped Honey.
Of course, no celebration is complete without something delicious to pair it all with. Cousins Maine Lobster will be on site serving up their famous lobster rolls and more!
The soundtrack to the day is just as sweet as the mead. Jocelyn Oldham takes the stage from 12:30–3:30pm, followed by the Route 5 Ramblers from 4:30–7:30pm to keep the good vibes flowing.
It’s more than a celebration, it’s a toast to tradition, community, and of course, mead. Join us Saturday, October 4 to experience what all the buzz is about.
