NATIONAL HERITAGE WEEK
IN-PERSON CELEBRATORY AFTERNOON: "A Celebration of the Camac"
As part of , Green Foundation Ireland, along with the , invite you to join us for the above in-person celebratory afternoon from 14:30 to 16:30 (Irish time) on Saturday afternoon, 22 August 2026.
As always at our events, an important part will be the Q&A session which will allow full participation by those attending.
Snacks, soft drinks and ice cream will be available.
THEME
This is an opportunity for all those interested in protecting the River Camac as a resource to come together in a celebration of the river through short talks, music, poetry.
VENUE and GETTING THERE
The is situated at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin, D08 FW31 and is easily accessible by car, on foot, by rail, bus or bike – to help you locate it. The main museum entrance is on Military Road and for this entrance. There is also a secondary entrance (pedestrian only) on South Circular Road, opposite the Courthouse at Kilmainham Gaol.
