National Building Museum tour
Schedule
Sat Oct 25 2025 at 10:30 am to 12:00 pm
UTC-04:00Location
National Building Museum | Washington, DC
The museum is an architectural gem located in downtown DC. Built in the 1880s to house government offices, the building has survived unchanged, as a showpiece of late Victorian style. It houses exhibits on our built environment: architecture, construction, and urban planning and design.
This tour will last approximately 1-1/2 hours, and will cover the design and construction of the building itself, as well as highlights of two current exhibits: House and Home (how we build and use our homes) and Visible Vault (treasures from the museum's archives).
