NBMBAA - RDU Chapter October General Body Meeting: Power At The Polls: Leveraging Your Vote to Shape Our Future
This event provides an excellent opportunity to network with NBMBAA professionals. Our meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 22, from 6:00-7:30 PM at North Carolina Central University, School of Business, Room 248, 829 E Lawson St, Durham, NC.
Access will be available at the front entrance. The back door will be locked. Free parking will be available on Dupree St and the Lot on Lawson St (819E Lawson Street Durham, NC)
We will hear from three candidates about the importance of voting:
· MoNika Johnson-Hostler, candidate for the NC House for District 33
· Eugene Myrick, candidate for Mayor of Raleigh
· Judge Carolyn Thompson, re-election candidate for the North Carolina Court of Appeals
Additionally, there will be a recap of the 2024 NBMBAA National Conference, where chapter members will share their experiences and photos from the event. Members, guests, and sponsors are all welcome to attend.
Registration on Eventbrite is required to attend this meeting. The dress code is business casual, and light refreshments will be provided. While there is no charge to attend, donations to our website are always appreciated. Please visit www.rdublackmba.org.
