Join us for dinner and conversation as we celebrate National Black HIV Awareness Day!
About this Event

This program will serve as a community engagement forum for people living with HIV to celebrate the progress made, but to also recognize and discuss how racism, discrimination, and mistrust in the health care system may affect whether Black people seek or receive HIV care and prevention services. Clips from the EHE Podcast, Positive Voices (https://www.dcendshiv.org/podcast), will be viewed followed by a panel discussion on the following topics: HIV stigma, barriers to care, treatment and retention in care. This program will serve as an opportunity to increase HIV education, community involvement, and treatment among Black communities. Dinner will be provided to those who register. This is a free event.
