About

The NABGC Annual Conference and Awards Dinner comes to Wales for the first time. The day and evening will be held under one roof at Cardiff’s Leonardo Hotel. The day conference will feature keynote speakers and a number of informative workshops, all around our theme:

#QualityMatters - The Impact of Youth Work.

We will cover topics such as partnership working, leadership & management, and information management all through the lens of quality. As well as shining a light on the impact of quality youth work. This is an event not to be missed!

The evening will take us to a dinner and celebration where we will be joined by an inspirational speaker and present awards to our young people, volunteers and clubs.

10.30am-4.30pm Conference

6.30pm-late Dinner and Awards

• Three course dinner (see menu options below)

Awards Dinner Menu

STARTERS

• Roasted seasonal vegetable soup (v )(vg) (gf)
• Chicken parfait with caramelised onion Chutney, dressed rocket and toasted bread
• Smoked haddock and spring onion Fishcake with garlic and parsley aioli, with pea shoots

MAIN

• Lemon and thyme Roasted fillet of hake, served with Herb Mash, Seasonal Vegetables and a parsley and lemon sauce
• Pan seared Chicken Breast, served with roasted potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables and a Red Wine Jus
• Stuffed Peppers, served with Roasted Seasonal Vegetables and a Tomato Coulis (v) (gf)

DESSERT

• Warm Chocolate Brownie, chocolate sauce, blueberry compote (v)
• Baked Vanilla Cheesecake, fruit Coulis (v)
• Chocolate & Orange Tart (v) (gf)
