نصري شمس الدين واحد من هذه النجوم التي أضاءت ومازالت تضيء أيامنا بالفن الراقي الأصيل.
نصر الدين مصطفى شمس الدين من مواليد 1927 - بلدة جون - قضاء الشوف. عمل في بداية حياته في مصر ثم عاد إلى لبنان ليتعرف على الأخوين رحباني وينطلق معهم في مسرحياتهم وأغانيهم بدءاً من عام 1957 وحتى 1980.

لمحة عن المحاضر : سامي هلال مهندس ميكانيك من جامعة حلب دفعة ١٩٨٢، عمل بالمؤسسة العامة للخطوط الحديدية السورية ، وعضو بالهيئة التدريسية للمعهد المتوسط الهندسي فيها وعلى مدار عشرين عاماً. عمل بحقل البصريات بسورية ويعمل بهذا المجال منذ قدومه مع أسرته لكندا ٢٠٠١. يعشق الموسيقى عامة والشرقية خاصة وله أمسيات ثقافية و أحاديث إذاعية بهذا المضمار بالإضافة لمشاركته مع أسرة البرنامج الإذاعي السوري ليالي يا مال الشام من خلال الفقرة الفنية كنوز من الشرق التي كانت من إعداده وتقديمه. بعد توقف يا مال الشام ابتدأ سامي هلال بتقديم برنامج كنوز الشرق كل يوم أربعاء على أمواج إذاعة سي بي إي إل على التردد 101.5 إف إم أسبوعياً وبشكل تطوعي.

Combien nous avons besoin aujourd'hui, en ces temps difficiles, de nous souvenir des grands noms qui ont illuminé nos vies par leur art, leur beauté et leur sentiment d'appartenance. Nasri Shams El-Din est l'une de ces étoiles qui a illuminé et continue d'illuminer nos journées par son art raffiné et authentique.
Nasreddine Mustafa Shamseddine est né en 1927 à Joun, dans le district du Chouf. Il a travaillé en Égypte au début de sa carrière, puis est retourné au Liban pour rencontrer les frères Rahbani et collaborer avec eux sur leurs pièces et chansons, de 1957 à 1980.
L'Association Gilgamesh est heureuse de présenter une conférence de Nasreddine Shamseddine. N'oublions jamais.
Signature du professeur ingénieur Sami Hilal
À propos du conférencier : Sami Hilal est ingénieur en mécanique de l’Université d’Alep, promotion 1982. Il a travaillé à l’Organisation générale des chemins de fer syriens et a été professeur à l’Institut intermédiaire d’ingénierie de cette même ville pendant vingt ans. Il a travaillé dans le domaine de l’optique en Syrie, et ce depuis son arrivée au Canada avec sa famille en 2001.
Passionné de musique en général et de musique orientale en particulier, il organise des soirées culturelles et des conférences radiophoniques dans ce domaine. Il participe également à l'émission de radio syrienne « Layali Ya Mal Al-Sham » à travers le volet artistique « Trésors de l'Orient », qu'il a préparé et animé. Après la fin de « Ya Mal Al-Sham », Sami Hilal a commencé à présenter bénévolement l'émission « Trésors de l'Orient » tous les mercredis sur les ondes de CBEL Radio sur la fréquence 101,5 FM.

How much we need today, in these difficult times, to remember the great names who illuminated our lives through their art, their beauty, and their sense of belonging. Nasri Shams El-Din is one of those stars who brightened and continues to brighten our days with his refined and authentic art.
Nasreddine Mustafa Shamseddine was born in 1927 in Joun, in the Chouf district. He worked in Egypt at the beginning of his career, then returned to Lebanon to meet the Rahbani brothers and collaborate with them on their plays and songs, from 1957 to 1980.
The Gilgamesh Association is pleased to present a lecture on Nasreddine Shamseddine. Let us never forget.

About the lecturer:
Sami Hilal is a mechanical engineer from the University of Aleppo, class of 1982. He worked at the General Organization of Syrian Railways and was a professor at the Intermediate Institute of Engineering in the same city for twenty years. He also worked in the field of optics in Syria, and since his arrival in Canada with his family in 2001.
Passionate about music in general and Oriental music in particular, he organizes cultural evenings and radio lectures in this field. He also participated in the Syrian radio program Layali Ya Mal Al-Sham through the artistic segment Treasures of the Orient, which he prepared and hosted. After the end of Ya Mal Al-Sham, Sami Hilal began voluntarily presenting Treasures of the Orient every Wednesday on CBEL Radio, 101.5 FM.
