The Nashville Rock Meetup brings rock artists, producers, and music creators together at HOME for an evening built around the craft — who's building it, how they're doing it, and what it takes to sustain a rock career when you're doing it on your own terms.
Each event features a guest from the rock world who talks honestly about how they got here, how they work, and what they've learned building something that lasts in an industry that rewards consistency.
What the evening looks like:
6 PM — Open networking with rock artists, producers, and music creators who know what it means to build something outside the algorithm
6:30 PM — Q&A with the event's featured guest. Real conversation about the craft, the business, and what it actually takes.
7 PM — Open hang in HOME's studios. Bring a track, find a collaborator, get a fresh set of ears on something you've been working on.
This month's guest: Nicholas Brooks
Nick Brooks has spent more than 25 years in the music industry — as guitarist for Framing Hanley, as founder of Broox Records (an independent label focused on artist development and modern release strategy), and as Vice President of Technology and Marketing at Western Express, one of Nashville's largest transportation companies. He brings a rare combination of stage experience, label ownership, and corporate leadership to conversations about how rock musicians actually build sustainable careers today.

Ron Scalzo is the frontman of the rock band Return to Earth, whose music has been featured by MTV, WWE, Adult Swim, and Red Bull. He's produced award-winning audio for NPR programs including Jazz Night in America and From the Top, serves as Executive Producer of The Joy of Bob Ross podcast, and has interviewed hundreds of artists and industry professionals through his long-running Independent Minded podcast.
