Singer-Songwriter and actor (General Hospital, Y&R), Scott Reeves, best known for his number one hit “Made In America” by Toby Keith, and other chart climbers like “That’s Cool” by Blue County, and “Wounded” by John Schneider, is bringing the heartbeat of Nashville to your hometown. Scott, along with his cousins, The Reeves Brothers, a country western duo bringing real country music back to life, are heading to your town to host what will be a night you will surely remember. Not only will it be a night of great live music, but it will offer the intimate vibe of a genuine Nashville writer’s round as Scott and The Reeves Brothers share the stories that inspired songs you have and haven’t yet heard, along with a trip down memory lane as they cover the songs that inspired them to live and breathe music in the first place. Scott Reeves became a member of an elite group of songwriters when Toby Keith’s “Made in America” hit number one on the Billboard country music chart in 2011. Working in collaboration with Keith and fellow songwriter, Bobby Pinson, Scott crafted a lyric line that resonated with the nation. For Reeves, songwriting has become a passion and performing country music has been a joy. In 2003, he formed the country duo, Blue County and produced several Billboard country chart hits. He’s toured with the likes of Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Wynonna, Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn and many others. He also toured as a band member in the very popular General Hospital cover band, “Port Chuck. “Whether its playing at the legendary Bluebird Cafe’, or performing at the legendary Grand Ole Opry, or acting for the bright lights of Hollywood, each facet of Scott’s career fills out this modern day Renaissance man. Scott is still recognized for his roles on The Young & The Restless, General Hospital, Days of our Lives, Chicago Hope, ABC’s hit “Nashville, “ He was most recently seen in the Great American Family film, “Someone like You.” He’s now bringing his live show to life on the road with Nashville Nights an The Reeves Brothers.
It’s true the nostalgic sound of classic Country music is back and it’s come in no finer form then the roadhouse twang of The Reeves Brothers. Matt and Cole Reeves grew up in the small town of Pahrump, Nevada, where they lived behind The Stagestop, a honky tonk where their father, Jack Reeves, headlined five nights a week. Needless to say Country Music is embedded in the boys' DNA and playing it, second nature to breathing. Just as importantly as their dad’s influence, the brothers were, from an early age, surrounded by mentors like Dick Dale, Red Simpson, and Gib Guilbeau. The boys absorbed these various influences while working on perfecting their own craft with each passing day. Both briefly pursued solo careers, but soon realized that family was at the heart of who they are and the heartbeat of their music. And so, in 2013, The Reeves Brothers band was born. They released their first full-length album, which the Las Vegas Review “deemed worthy of being played on a jukebox stocked with the likes of Charlie Rich, David Allan Coe, and Merle Haggard, with voices as smooth as top-shelf bourbon.”
After a successful album release and an ever-busying tour schedule and an expanding fan base, the brothers received the Ameripolitan Award for “Honky-Tonk Group of the Year” in 2018.
Although The Reeves Brothers have already created a successful and thriving music career as both touring and recording musicians, they have only really just begun. The last two years saw them on the road with Justin Moore and Craig Morgan, and they quickly caught the attention of hit songwriter/producer, Phil “Philbilly” O’Donnell. As they continue to build their team, the duo is also establishing themselves as a fixture on the Nashville scene.
