NASA's International Observe the Moon Night
Saturn through telescopes and learn about our solar system.
About this Event
Make a Moon crater, take home samples of rocks similar to what we find on our Moon, view the Moon in creative ways, color the Moon and go on a scale model of our solar system walk. Earn your chance to take home a Planet Earth and Moon in Orbit LEGO set!

This is a free, family-friendly event! Bring a camp chair, blanket and water bottle. Come prepared to be inspired by the night sky while learning about the Moon and our solar system through hands-on activities.
To enjoy a natural night sky, a red light flashlight is recommended. If you don’t have a red light flashlight, we will provide one to borrow during the event. Bring a chair, blanket and a water bottle.
If storms are in the forecast the day of the event, we will notify you by email at least two hours prior to the start time to let you know if the event will be rescheduled.

¡Venga con su familia a celebrar La Noche Internacional de Observación de la Luna de NASA! Observaremos la Luna, Saturno y otros objetos del cielo a través de telescopios y aprenderemos sobre nuestro sistema solar con actividades educativas. ¡Aprovecha la oportunidad de llevarte a casa gratís un set LEGO de la Tierra y la Luna en órbita!
Descubra el sistema solar con un recorrido a escala, hacer un cráter lunar, construya su propio buscador de constelaciones para llevar a casa y mucho más para explorar.

El evento es gratuito y familiar. Vengan listos para disfrutar del cielo nocturno mientras aprendemos sobre la Luna, los planetas y el universo.
Qué tiene que traer: Pueden traer una silla de campamento y una manta. Traigan repelente para mosquitos y botellas de agua recargables.
Se recomienda traer una linterna de luz roja para no afectar la visión nocturna, pero le prestaremos una durante el evento si no tiene una.
Si hay pronóstico de tormentas el día del evento, le enviaremos un mensaje al menos dos horas antes del inicio para avisarle si el evento será reprogramado.
