NASA Space Place Art Challenge + Art Class

Happy New Year! 🌟 One of our goals for 2025 is to spend more time skywatching. This month, the night sky offers some exciting sights, including the Moon, a meteor shower, and four bright planets—Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn!

Now, it’s time for a creative challenge! Each month, NASA invites young explorers to imagine and draw a space-related scene. At the end of the month, a few standout artworks will be featured on the NASA Space Place website!

✨ January’s Art Prompt: What are you most excited to see in the night sky this month—or anytime in 2025? Will you be gazing at a full moon, hoping to catch the northern lights, or searching for planets? Let your imagination soar and show us your vision of the night sky! 🚀🎨

📅 You can submit your artwork by February 28, 2025. Featured pieces will appear on the NASA Space Place website in early March!

Following the Space Brain Hack Challenge, youth will engage in a creative art session with our Art Teachers every Sunday. They will work on a variety of projects that encourage self-expression and artistic development.

Parents are welcome to pick up their children between 16:45 and 17:00.
