How do you create collective and/or shared spaces? At this live, in-person storytelling event, we hear from architects, designers, artists, and policymakers as they investigate their experience with collective and shared spaces—their merits, and how they impact the built, natural, and the social environments. Featuring Paola Aguirre, Juan De la Mora, Chantal Peñalosa, and Carlos Robles-Shanahan. Rafael Robles hosts. In Spanish.
¿Cómo creas espacios colectivos y/o compartidos? En este evento de narración en vivo y en persona, escucharemos a arquitectos, diseñadores, artistas y legisladores mientras investigan su experiencia con espacios colectivos y compartidos: sus méritos y cómo impactan los entornos construidos, naturales y sociales. Save the date! The Lit & Luz Festival returns November 1-6, 2021. Through this year’s theme, “Structure,” participants will consider the physical structures that house us, political and societal structures that surround us, and much more.
The 2021 Chicago festival will be hybrid and feature both virtual and in-person programs including readings, conversations, and workshops. We’re excited to announce that the one-and-only Live Magazine Show will be presented in partnership with the University of Chicago’s Logan Center for the Arts.
