Visit the Carbondale Branch Library to learn how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose using Naloxone (Narcan) from Maggie Seldeen with High Rockies Harm Reduction. The presentation will begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28 and will describe the basics on how opioids interact with our bodies, risks for overdose, and tools and resources to both prevent and reverse opioid overdoses.
