NARCAN Training

Join Tampa Bay Psychedelic for a free community Narcan training led by the Outreach Team from IDEA Tampa.
Whether you're a parent, friend, caregiver, community member, volunteer, or simply someone who wants to be prepared to help in an emergency, this training provides practical knowledge that can save lives.
Participants will learn:
• What Narcan (naloxone) is and how it works
• How to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose
• How to respond safely and effectively in an overdose emergency
• How and when to administer Narcan
At the conclusion of the training, participants will receive free Narcan kits while supplies last.
No prior experience or medical background is required. This training is open to the public, and everyone is welcome.
The training typically lasts between 60 and 90 minutes, including time for questions and discussion.
Together, we can help create a safer, more informed, and more compassionate community.
