We are excited to announce that NAOMI UYAMA is returning to Tucson to teach Swing Era solo & partnered dances. She's been busy traveling the world and recorded a new CD last summer! If you'd like to know more about her & her band, here's a link to her new website: https://www.naomisdevils.comThis year the dance workshops are scheduled the day before the Hotel Congress Plaza Celebration appropriately on International Dance Day - April 29th.
Naomi will lead three Dance Workshops at the Tucson Creative Dance Center, 3131 N Cherry, Tucson (SW corner of Ft Lowell & Cherry, adjacent to Nature Conservancy), 6-9 pm.
SCHEDULE
6 pm Beginners 8-count Lindy Hop & Charleston
7 pm Solo Jazz Routine* (some dance experience required)
8 pm Swingout Variations (intermediate/advanced)
*Note: 7 pm Solo Jazz Routine will be performed (if there are enough participants) at approx. 8:20 pm on Thursday, April 30th, on the Hotel Congress Plaza in celebration of International JAZZ & DANCE DAYS! Naomi & Her Handsome Devils will be performing as well as the Tucson Jazz Institute Ellington Big Band directed by Brice Winston.
FEES: There are two PayPal links provided on the Registration Form - one for adults and one for students.

Adults: $15/1 class, $30/2 classes, $40/3 classes
Students: $10/1 class, $20/2-3 classes
