🎵 NAO KATAFUCHI (JP)

Trakiya Trash invites you to the first of a series of events this holiday season. From Japan, through New York and now Munster we bring you:
🎵 NAO KATAFUCHI (JP)
Nao Katafuchi creates a cold, cinematic sonic world rooted in minimal synth and darkwave. Raised in Tokyo during the technological boom of the 1980s, he later moved to New York’s Lower East Side, where he emerged from the legendary Wierd Records scene alongside key figures of the minimal synth revival, including Xeno and Oaklander, Void Vision, and Automelodi.
Blending melancholic Japanese and English lyrics with analog textures, Katafuchi’s sound carries through releases Yumegoto, Émergence, Stahlgrau and Lonely Fire. He has shared stages with artists such as ChameleonsVox, Rational Youth, Psyche, Attrition and Parade Ground, steadily building an international presence.
Now based in Germany for over a decade, he continues to expand his reach with the release of his new album Lonely Fire in June 2026. He has just wrapped up a successful three-week Latin America tour.
With support from:
🎵 Mantis - Alan Bone & Tapwater are going to provide the familiar trashy sound sound for the after party

🎵 XRaydio - Plovdiv's favorite underground radio station will be there to get everyone in the mood as soon as the doors open
