Synopsis

Nanito is an 80-year-old man who feels increasingly alone. When he reconnects with Antonia, a love from his past, he begins to imagine that companionship and romance may still be possible. Through Nanito’s tenderness and Antonia’s playful spirit, the film offers a moving and warm reflection on loneliness, affection and love in old age.

Written and directed by Guillermo Fernández Cano and starring Guido Calderón and Martha Rebaza, Nanito is a Peruvian film shot in Arequipa that invites audiences to look at ageing with tenderness, humour and hope.
